A FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT THE YOUTH

The Ricky Williams Foundation (RWF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), organized to provide tutorial services, public speaking programs and sports camps that promote health and fitness. With your help and/or participation, the Ricky Williams Foundation will make great strides towards helping equip youth with the fundamental skills to be successful in life. RWF’s mission is to be instrumental in the economic, social and educational development of at-risk individuals from low social-economic communities as well as be a major player in raising funds for world-wide disaster relief by partnering with other not-for-profits.

Ricky was inspired to start the foundation because he wanted to give back to under served communities. He did not want to be defined as simply a professional football player. Instead, he wants to be characterized as a leader in his community with social consciousness and empathy for the struggles impoverished communities face. ” I don’t want my legacy to be that I was simply a good running back in the National Football League. My commitment to join forces with other charitable organizations in an effort to help those in need is very important to me and I hope it will further define who I am as an individual”.

With the help of other non-profit organizations, the Ricky Williams Foundation is making great strides towards helping with efforts ranging from local community efforts to disaster relief abroad.
